May is Mental Health Awareness month and Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is joining the conversation this year. Division III SAAC has launched a mental health social media campaign from May 4-7 in hoping to provide a platform for student-athletes, administrators, coaches, staff, and support networks across the country to dialogue and communicate the benefits of normalizing mental health. The campaign will use the hashtag #BreakTheStigma. Having conversations about mental health is important and more needs to be done. At Edgewood College, Cross Country and Track & Field Head Coach Bethany Brewster is doing her part.
